How commissions are calculated

A commission is created when an attributed customer pays (subscription_started or subscription_payment). The amount is the payment times your commission rate.

• Recurring / lifetime: every later payment from that customer earns a new commission for the same affiliate.
• Holding period: commissions stay pending (30 days by default) and become payable afterwards.
• Refunds: a payment_refunded event reverses the matching commission, fully or partly, automatically.
• Rate changes apply to new commissions only; earned commissions keep their original rate.
